Solar urticaria is a skin disease which can can create problems to the patient when he is exposed to ultra violet radiations or even visible light. At such situations, red patches will be seen in the skin of the patient. That’s because, when the patient is exposed to UV light, solar urticaria produces some kind of chemicals which may make cause the blood vessels to open and the skin may become itchy. If you think you are a victim of the disease, then you should immediately consult a doctor who will be checking your skin and will be studying its effect to sunlight. He will also be doing blood tests and some other tests in order to finalize it and confirm you with the result.
